The Renaudies gardens

A beautiful English style garden to visit between Easter and the end of October

With 3000 varieties of flowering plants, trees and shrubs, its museum and its corn maze, the Renaudies gardens are a great place for a day out.

Opened in 1988, the floral park was created from scratch after long and hard thought and planning. It is perfect for family visits with its undulating, sinuous paths, its cosy spaces, and beautiful blooms, not to mention the mixed borders, a speciality of gardens in the English style.

Children appreciate being able to roll in the grass and enjoy the huge corn maze when it sprouts up in season.

The botanical aspect of the garden will be of great interest to those with an interest in the botanical aspect of gardens, especially botanists and gardeners. Many rare plants from around the world feature among the herbaceous borders. The sound of water pleasantly accompanies your visit, as it cascades over the water wheel.

The Jardins des Renaudies are the setting for some wonderful old stone buildings, which house a private collection of old tools and old crafts, portraying the way locals lived in the past.

The garden is also an exhibition space for temporary exhibitions. Shows are organised regularly with, for example, Japanese floral art, honey making and pumpkin growing.
