Haute Mayenne by bike

To discover new landscapes, you can continue your ride along many many other paths

The old railway lines, between Mayenne and Javrons-les-Chapelles, and between La Chapelle Anthenaise and Ambrières-les-Vallées have been transformed into green ways for cycling, horse riding and walking. A full 73 kilometres which can be combined with routes along the tow path

After having walked from north to south along the routes in the Haute Mayenne, you can try out other paths in the département.

Additional information on the cycling circuits, including weather forecasting, equipment, secure bike sheds, repair kits, drinking water and so on are all available.

In some cases, luggage can be transported for you while you travel by bike..

 

La Vélo FrancetteLa Vélo Francette The green way from Ambrières and the tow path from Mayenne connect up to the Vélo Francette route which runs between Ouistreham in Normandy to La Rochelle, over 607 km.

Over a hundred of these kilometres are in our département, also interconnecting with other routes: Loire à Vélo, Véloscénie, Vélodyssée and EurVélo 4.
