Mayenne château museum. Recharge your batteries at the Chevrie guest house in Commer, then cycle at your own pace along the river Mayenne, enjoying the lush green expanses and relaxing to the sound of the water. With friends or family, the tow path is accessible to all and takes around forty minutes to ride.

Once you arrive in town, you can leave your bike in front of the Tourist Office where it will be safe and secure.

A visit to the château museum, passing through the town centre where you can enjoy lunch on a terrace or in a restaurant.

Take an after-lunch constitutional stroll around the flowery pathways of the Chateau de Mayenne. Over the course of a one hour visit, the museum will transport you through the centuries.

In the late afternoon stroll through the shopping streets of the town centre.

Take time to stop at the "Les Savons de Raphael," a soap maker situated beneath the imposing Basilica of Notre Dame. The handmade soaps are a wonderful variety of forms and colours.

Before going back to the tow path, ask at the Tourist Office to plan your next day's outings.
